Thin line

Cover up the hurt

With a smile, a joke, a lie

Burrow it so deep

Nobody can see inside

Pretend everything

Is alright

Have the anguish

Eat you alive

No, turn it around

Let it out tonight

Look within me

You will find

A mirrored tortured

Soul of mine

Can you feel the

Spark ignite

When our hands,

Our hips align

In heated passion

We unite

And bring us both

To the divine

I let you into my life

Not fully

Just enough to hope

That mad rush

The spark between us

Was real

But I don’t belong

I was only a visitor

Sucked into the vortex

Of your dream world

And now I have to

Wake up
